The  GotopGPM-1000-UB is a comple
te GPS engine module that features supe
r sensitivity, ultra low power and small for
m factor. The GPS signal is applied to th
e antenna input of module, and a com
plete serial data message with position,  v
elocity and time information is presented
at the serial interface with NMEA protocol
or custom protocol.
Its  –162dBm tracking sensitivity exten
ds positioning coverage into place like ur
ban canyons and dense foliage environm
ent where the GPS was not possible bef
ore. The small form factor and low power
consumption make the module easy to i
ntegrate into portable device like Noteboo
k PC, mobile phones, cameras and vehicl
e navigation systems.
